Question of the Day: What's the weather going to be like?

How hot will it be when we arrive in Israel? Lots of people have asked me this question today. Perhaps it's because they know I do not like hot weather.

So,I went surfing on the Internet to find out. Looking at the extended forecast for Tel Aviv, point of arrival on Tuesday, the skies look to be partly cloudy with temperatures ranging from a high of 61 to a low of 49. Ahhhh, my kind of weather. As we move from the airport to Jericho, the evening will be cooler - low around 32 degrees. The same night, the low in Jerusalem will be 19 degrees. Good thing no percipitaion is expected. I hear it sometimes snows in Jerusalem in late January, early February.

Due to the varying degrees in the range of temperatures from place to place, we're told to plan to layer our clothing.
