Spending money - I do it so well

Today was a busy day of last minute purchases: sun glasses (which I never wear), sun screen, a poncho for the possibility of rain - one never knows when a storm will rise up in the middle of the Sea of Galilee.

In order to keep the blog ongoing while away, several people suggested I take a notebook - so yes, I purchased one today. Not a paper one, but an electronic one. Although Nancy did give me one I could write in - thanks, Nancy! I'll consider this purchase to be an extravagant, probably totally unnecessary, early birthday present or late Christmas present to myself.

Perhaps the most important purchase was getting the H1N1 flu shot. Amazingly, my arm did not get even a little sore.

I appreciate all the prayers - some of you know about my "love" of flying - perhaps this is a story for tomorrow.
